Taking a hint from Twitter

T.S. Elliot once said, “If I had more time, I would have written a shorter letter”

You would think it would be easy to express yourself in Twitter’s maximum of 140 characters or less, but composing an effective Tweet can take the better part of a day. A good Tweet is the epitome of sending a message that is brief and to the point. There is an inverse relationship between the length of a statement and it’s effectiveness. Think of your brand in terms of Twitter. Communicate efficiently and say more by saying less. Be direct. Be clear. Be relevant. Have a straightforward point of view. Be a beacon in a crowded marketplace. Your audience will appreciate the mindful communication and your brand will stand out from the crowd.
